What happens if it rains at Auskick? Well, we have a saying that "it never rains at Auskick!" On the rare occasions that it may rain, Auskick participation is up to the parents. Our volunteer coaches usually show up and if there's enough interested people, the coaches may run a session for those keen enough. Again, ongoing participation is up to the parents, so if your child gets the shivers, it's probably time to go home, even if it's half way through the session. On cold morning, it would be more sensible to wear long sleeves (footy jumper over the top if you like) and long pants, such as tracksuit pants. If the rain gets heavier or the children get colder, we may bring the session to an earlier close. Another reason for parents to remain on-site at all times.

Malvern District Auskick is a busy place – we have 500 Auskickers registered this year. Unfortunately we all need to park somewhere! At Darling Station, next to the Auskick oval (DW Lucas oval), there are only limited places. WE ADVISE that you park on the South side of the railway tracks and walk across the overpass to Auskick. This car park is accessible from Hurstmon, Illowa and Wyneth Streets which all run off Malvern Road. Parking inspectors patrol the area, so please do not park on the kerb on Dunlop St or block other cars in!
